This is a page about me!

So, technically my profession would be properly labelled as “physicist” but I have currently found myself working as a middle school and high school teacher. That being said, I am super enthusiastic about technology, programming, electronics, 3d printing, and engineering. Since I discovered Linux, I’ve been on the path to free and open source enlightenment via such things as “Arch Linux,” “NixOS,” “Tiling Window Managers,” the “Terminal,” “Vim” and “Emacs.” This being the case, I decided to become a FOSS content creator and subsequently made this website.

At home, I am a husband and father. My son is around 2 years old right now, and it’s been quite the adventure having him around! My wife and I are both into videogames, with are favorite series including things such as Pokemon, Sonic the Hedgehog, Monster Hunter, Minecraft and Terraria. We also watch a little bit of anime (not the weird kind).

My other hobbies (in no particular order) include:

  • Running (long distance)
  • Hiking (so I can touch grass every now and then)
  • Camping (with tents, campfires and s’mores)
  • Sticker making (it’s probably the only artistic thing I’m capable of)
  • Playing piano and singing (I’m not really good at either)
  • Music composition (I just like messing around with DAWs, maybe I’ll start a music career someday :P)
  • Pretending to be a ninja by practing sword swings with a wooden Japanese sword (it’s actually a really good upper body workout you should try it sometime)
